A 30-day, read-only diagnostic audit of your assessment integrity logs. No PII. No operational disruption. No obligation. Just evidence of where your integrity chain-of-custody breaks — and what it costs you.
Section 1 · Objective
MeritVault will conduct a Shadow Mode audit of your institution's assessment integrity logs to identify gaps in the current integrity chain-of-custody. No operational changes will be made to your current assessment delivery.
Duration
30 Days
Mode
Shadow (Read-Only)
Operational Change
None
No Obligation · Section 5
"This pilot does not constitute a commitment to purchase any subsequent services."
The pilot is a diagnostic engagement. Its only output is evidence — of gaps found, risk quantified, and a path forward. Whether you act on it is entirely your decision.
Section 2 · Scope
Three guardrails define what MeritVault touches during the 30-day pilot — and what it deliberately does not.
MeritVault receives read-only API access to your LMS / proctoring log exports for the pilot period. No operational changes are made to your assessment delivery.
We do not ingest student names, emails, or government IDs. All data is anonymized and tokenized upon export. We audit the integrity chain — not the students.
We analyze only integrity-relevant metadata: timestamps, system status signals, and event logs. Nothing more.
Section 3 · Deliverables
Three artifacts that translate raw log analysis into institutional decisions.
A document detailing the number and type of integrity gaps found during the pilot — missing evidence, broken chains, unverified sessions.
An estimate of the institutional risk exposure based on the gaps found — translated into reputational and operational terms leadership can act on.
A prioritized list of infrastructure improvements, sequenced by integrity impact and implementation effort.
Section 4 · Data Handling & Privacy
Privacy by architecture — the institution keeps the evidence; MeritVault keeps the hashes.
All raw log data accessed during the pilot remains the property of your institution. MeritVault does not retain raw logs after the pilot concludes.
We retain only the aggregate "Integrity Manifest" proofs — cryptographic hashes and status signals, never raw evidence.
MeritVault complies with FERPA, GDPR, and regional privacy laws by architectural design, not by policy exception.
The engagement sequence
Pillar C · The Shadow Mode Pitch Sequence
Four steps — from diagnostic hook to philosophical close — that reframe MeritVault from a vendor into an aligned partner.
Step 1 of 4
"We aren't here to replace your systems. We are here to audit them. Give us 30 days of read-only access to your existing logs, and we will tell you exactly how many integrity incidents your current stack is missing."
Why it works
It removes the vendor risk. You are a diagnostician, not a replacement.
Begin the diagnostic
We will tell you exactly how many integrity incidents your current stack is missing — and what they're costing your institution.
